Hiraku is a unique and striking rose variety. Its blooms are a deep purplish-red with hints of blue, measuring about 6–8 cm in diameter. The flowers have a medium fragrance, and the plant typically grows to a height of 80–100 cm.

What makes this rose especially remarkable is its rare bluish-purple hue—darker in cooler temperatures and shifting to a deep red when the weather is warmer. The blooms are large and cup-shaped, with wavy petal edges that add to their charm. The petals appear folded in an unusual, almost layered style, rather than the traditional tightly wrapped form.
