This flower is named "琉璃" (Ruriokoshi), a double-flowered variety of the "Fuchsia Queen of Vines" fuchsia. While some sources suggest it's among the top ten native varieties, it's primarily a cultivated horticultural breed, intentionally developed for ornamental purposes. Interestingly, it's essentially the same as another variety known as "青空" (Aozora), but has been assigned different names by domestic flower merchants for marketing purposes. Renowned for its exquisite blooms, this variety is cherished by fuchsia enthusiasts and holds significant allure for novice flower enthusiasts as well.

The leaves of "琉璃" (Ruriokoshi) also possess unique characteristics, being oval in shape with a smooth surface, showcasing a vibrant and glossy emerald green color, exuding vitality. Upon blooming, they become even more enchanting. The flowers are of moderate size, approximately 10 centimeters in diameter, fully double-petaled, with layers of petals resembling peony blooms—plump, rounded, and with a satisfyingly dense texture. Their color is a refreshing and pleasant shade of pale blue, exuding an air of elegance and beauty, almost dreamlike, evoking a sense of intoxication. This variety holds immense aesthetic value, captivating the beholder with its allure.
