Yuan (円空) - its name might be a bit tricky to pronounce. It's one of the more advanced varieties of the Japanese Iris, known for its exquisite beauty. It can bloom with over a hundred flowers at once, each being a multi-petaled blue blossom. What's more, its individual flower period is remarkably long. Despite its delicate appearance, Yuan is quite resilient and easy to care for.

Yuan belongs to the multi-petaled variety, with layers of petals resembling a young girl's layered cake skirt—graceful and delicate, like a blue lotus flower. Its ethereal beauty resembles that of a fairy descending from the heavens, exuding a unique tenderness. Yuan has a good propensity for repeat flowering, producing a large number of blooms in spring and autumn, with occasional scattered blossoms even in the summer.
